AWS Activate gives self-funded startups $1,000 (up to $5,000) in AWS credits, and startups backed by an Activate Provider up to $200,000 — usable on Amazon Bedrock and every AWS service.
What you get

Who qualifies
- Pre-Series B
- Founded in the last 10 years
- AWS account on the Paid Tier Plan
- New to Activate Credits, or requesting more credits than previously received
- Portfolio tier needs an Organization ID from an Activate Provider (accelerator, angel investor or VC firm)
How to apply
- Create an AWS Builder ID with a professional email
- Choose Founders (self-funded) or Portfolio (with your provider's Org ID), describe the startup, link an AWS account and submit
- Decision within 5–10 business days
Good to know: The $200,000 Portfolio tier needs an Organization ID from an Activate Provider (an accelerator, VC or angel group). Self-funded startups apply to Activate Founders, which starts at $1,000.
